PadelBusiness.be

The competition is open to professionals and companies wishing to represent their company in a friendly and competitive padel tournament. To participate, the person present must ideally have decision-making power within their company, in order to ensure the interest of networking.

In terms of level, there are no restrictions. There are indeed 3 categories for experienced players but also a category for beginners with no ranking or with a ranking equivalent to beginner.

Registration is exclusively online via our website.

First, you need to register as a member of the site. Fill out the registration form, select your sectors of interest, the region that interests you, and indicate your level of play.

Then, you will receive specific information for the organized events. Priority for events corresponding to your sectors of interest and your location.

To register for an event, you must then enter your partner's member number to automatically define your team's game category.

When you register for an event, it's important that you always keep your ranking up to date. We take into account your highest ranking in the 3 Belgian federations and on Playtomic. If your ranking changes between the time you register and the day you take part, it's essential that you keep us informed in writing. If it turns out that the ranking communicated is not correct, or that you did not play the correct ranking on the day of the tournament, or that you did not transmit the correct affiliation number, your team will be disqualified.

Anyone with no official ranking in any of the 3 federations or on Playtomic will be assimilated by default to p100. It is however possible to request an exemption to play in a higher category.

The category in which your pair is entered depends on the sum of the 2 players' rankings:

- If the sum of the 2 rankings is 300 or less => your pair plays in the STARTERS category
- If the sum of the 2 rankings is 400, 500 or 600 => your pair plays in the PERFORMERS category
- If the sum of the 2 rankings is 700, 800 or 900 => your pair plays in the KILLERS category
- If the sum of the 2 rankings is 1,000 or more => your pair plays in the MASTERS category

In 2025, 24 qualifying rounds are scheduled. Anyone registered as a member on the padelbusiness.be site has the opportunity to register for one or more qualifying rounds. Registration is done in pairs and it is essential that both players are registered as members on the site beforehand.

During each qualification, a maximum of 16 teams try to qualify for one of the 4 semi-finals, depending on the ranking level of the pair.  to access the grand final, where the best of the tournament compete for the title.

Reception is between 12:30 and 1:00 p.m. Our team is at the edge of the courts to inform you where and against whom you are playing.

Then, the matches follow from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Based on 4 teams registered per category, you play 3 pool matches and one final.

You draw lots. The winner of the draw can choose either their side or the team having the first serve. The other team then has the second choice. A signal will indicate the official start of the match. Every 2 exchanges, the serve changes sides. And each exchange won gives a point to the winning team. Once the end signal sounds, the team with the most points at the end of the current exchange wins the match (e.g., 52 - 46). In case of a tie at the end of the last exchange, an additional exchange is played to determine the winning team. A winning team scores 2 points.

Once the pool matches are played, the 2 teams with the most points play the grand final in their category while the other 2 teams play the small final at the same time. In case of a tie after the pool matches, the team with the best result based on the difference between the number of points won and the number of points lost in all pool matches qualifies. In case of a tie again, the team that won the most points in all its pool matches qualifies. Finally, if the tie still applies based on these criteria, an exchange will be played between the 2 teams to determine the qualified team, with a draw to determine the team getting the serve.

The team winning the grand final then qualifies in its category for the semi-final in November at Tero Louise.

After the matches, all participants are invited to the clubhouse for a friendship drink and an aperitif offered by the sponsors. An award ceremony also takes place to reward the teams qualified for the semi-final.
